Designer Akiko Fuchigama started her career in the Public Relations department of Issey Miyake International Inc., in charge of launching the TSUMORI CHISATO brand in Tokyo. Living abroad from Japan in London, Paris and now New York City Akiko has studied and worked in the field of Advertising & Communications, while always dabbling in jewelry making. In 2000 a chance meeting with jewelry master Chie Teratani, she made a bold move to be a jewelry designer her calling.
Since her first break through trunk show in 2003, at HP France boutique, AF House was born.
